Day 2, part 3. Touring Times Square.

When we got out of the theater, we went across the street to check out Ripley's Believe It or Not.

The bearded lady.

After that, we took our time wandering around Times Square. Their subway signs were a little bit spiffier than other parts of town.

The huge billboards were pretty awesome.

My boys at Times Square.

Times Square was loaded with tourist, but there was plenty of room to move around.

Lots of double decker buses.

We miss you already, Spiderman!

I spotted a comedian that we like. Well, his picture, anyway.

Caroline's Comedy Club.

I should have tested out my comedy skills. ;)

Naked Cowgirl.

Naked Cowboy.
In case you forget what year this is.
Tom Hank's new Broadway show.

Outside the Hershey Store. Don't worry, boys. We'll be back.

Jekyll & Hyde Club, a restaurant with a horror show.

After we walked around exploring Times Square, we had built up quite an appetite. We headed to John's Pizza. It's a pretty popular place to hit before or after going to the theater. We had a pretty long wait to be seated. The wheels were starting to fall off, and Nik was starting to get upset. I'm sure it was just from the heat of the day, and now having to wait so long to be seated. We were all starving. But just as it was starting to get ugly, our number was called and we were escorted to our seats.

The ceiling of John's Pizza.

We ordered two different types of pizza.

The pizza was pretty good. Or maybe we were just starving. In any event, the total came out to $61.15. Not too bad for a restaurant in Times Square.  After dinner, we headed over to the massive 4 story Toys R Us.

Toys R Us was swarming with characters standing in front of the entrance. As soon as Spiderman saw Nik and Noah's shirts, and my camera, he came swooping down on us. You can see him in the picture above, located on the left side. He "attacked" as soon as I took the picture.

We quickly made our way inside Toys R Us. This store is huge. The center had a big Ferris wheel. The kids wanted to go on it, so we made our way to the bottom floor to pay for admission.

There were huge toy display statues.

An entire Hot Wheels store inside Toys R Us.

There was even an ice cream store.

Superman trying to stop a truck from falling.

We found the Star Wars department!

Lego Heaven.

Barbie overload!

We finally found the entrance to the Ferris wheel. Admission was a total of $20 for a family of four.

Surprisingly, it was a pretty long ride.

We were put into the Mystery Machine car!

We spent about an hour just wandering around Toys R Us. The kids loved it. But it was getting late,so we started to make our way back to the hotel.

On our way back, we checked out the Hershey Store.

Noah wanted the giant candy bar!
Shockingly, we spent less than $20 here.

Then we went to the M&M Store.

Only in America!

Disco M&M.

The M&M store had a display where you could pick what color M&Ms you could buy. Nik picked purple and Noah picked green. We also bought an M&M statue of liberty candy dispenser. $41 later, we were out of there and back to the hotel.

My men conquering the big apple.

We headed back to the hotel after that. We were so excited from the day, I believe we probably floated all the way back to our room. Next up, day 3. A somber day at the 9/11 Memorial.
